Post Virginia Real Estate Story...

I've heard a lot of mixed-up stories in real estate, but nothing comes close to a woman that lives near me getting mad with some flowers sent (with the best intentions) by her agent. After closing the deal of her new house, she was sent these lovely flowers but with a card saying "Rest In Peace." Obviously it was a grave mistake and she was swearing when she phoned the agent. And surprisingly the agent was able to comfort her, by saying that " Look, I'm truly sorry but picture this. Right now, there's a memorial service, and they will get the flowers with the note, 'Congratulations on your new home!'"

LOL...I think as the agent I would have been so embarassed but as we are all reading this I am sure we are laughing. At least the lady who purchased the new house is having a good laugh now that she thinks back on it.

How terrible. I'd be curious to know what the flower shop did to make it right. Did the realtor get his money back? And worse of all, what were the reactions of the poor family who lost a loved one??

Oh my goodness. How sad. I hope that the agent was able to get his money back. As for the flower shop I can't believe they made that mistake. I am sure that the agent will never use that flower shop again.
