I also chose California because my oldest son lives there. He is in San Diego and when we've visited, the weather was wonderful. He always hated the cold of Missouri, where I am. I'm not fond of the cold either.

I had to choose Hawaii. I now live Southern California. It has been very cold here where I live and I am in the desert where it is usually hot. I chose Hawaii because of the beautiful sunsets and the beaches.
