New Home Sales

I heard on the news today that new home sales had dropped 17% which was really bad and it hadn't dropped this much in years. Unfortunately, I didn't hear the entire broadcast but what I did hear was discouraging for those looking to relocate.

Maybe it isn't true in all areas of the country.

This isn't a good thing for people trying to sell their homes, but with us looking to buy a new home soon, it might actually be a good thing. People that are having to sell homes are going to be more likely to accept a lower offer just to get out from under the home.

I didn't know that sales has dropped. That is great for people looking to purchase a house. However, it is very bad news for people trying to sell. I have noticed a drop off to a point especially in the new housing tracks. I personally thought it was because the cost of the new house were outrageous.
