Default Las Vegas relocation please

Does anyone currently live in the Las Vegas area? There is a possibility that I might be relocating there. I have heard that the housing has gotten a little bit pricer than it was before. Any information would be nice.

The URL above is a good place to start. From our research the average home price is $329,000. This is up from $143,000 in 2003.

Although from further real estate research the average home price is dropping right now, and could be down below $300,000 by middle of 2007.

Well Actually Las Vegas has been ruled out for my one of my relocation states...LOL...it is all up in the air. However, I am thinking about still purchasing a house in the area for when I retire. Las Vegas is just going to continue booming.

Thanks for the site. Wow. The average of houses are not as high as I thought they were going to be. I would have thought up in the $500,000. I am sure that with all of the building that is going on that the average of a house will go up soon.
