From Georgia to Missouri

I'll never forget when I was a child of about 11 and we relocated from Georgia to Missouri. My parents hired movers to pack and transport all the furniture and other items. That was a necessity considering she had a baby grand piano.

The family, consisting of eight of us at the time traveled by car (one car) for a few days to reach Missouri. Oh yes, we also had two cats in cages. What a trip!

That trip took place many years ago and I've been in Missouri ever since. I have relocated a few times within the state though.

Do you ever go back to Georgia? I hear it is beautiful there. I have never been there. I have been to Missouri and it is great. It was while on vacation so we didn't stay very long.

Hi Caligirl. Yes, I finally returned to Georgia two years ago on vacation. It was more beautiful than I had remembered. We visited Savannah, one city I had never seen while living in Georgia as a child. We also went to a couple of islands off the coast which was a lot of fun. I loved the entire vacation.
