Great Article. As a Human Resource manager, I don't really look at GPA's only because many people don't include them on their applications. I personally look at their stability at previous jobs. If I see someone who is job hopping then I more than likely won't consider them unless they are really qualified.

That is good that you don't look at someones GPA. I have seen in my experience that some of the workers who have a c average be the better worker than someone who is an A student. Sometimes you have to give people teh benefit of the doubt.

When I was hiring for my company I wasn't all that interested in GPAs, although, if a GPA was submitted with an application, I would make sure it was at least acceptable. When I was looking for a college education, the area of study was also equally important. I would have math majors applying to work with children - that's not always a good combination!
